KIDS & YOUTH PROGRAM

At Newport Center United Methodist Church, we love kids! From infants to elementary age, we have done our best to help your children have a blast while learning about Jesus. Take a look below at the offerings for kids on Sundays and Wednesdays.

NURSERY CARE

Sundays | 10 AM

Our nursery is located at the south end of the building next to our main office; there are signs to help direct you.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays | 10 AM

Come check out our new Sunday School setup. We have something from toddler-12th grade!

  • Jr. High & High School (7th-12th grade) students in the Lounge

  • Elementary (Kindergarten-6th grade) students in the K2 Room

  • Toddlers and preschoolers in the big youth room

Each week will be jam-packed with a Bible lesson, application, games, and connection.

Preschool Boom

First Wednesdays | 2-3 PM

Youth Collective

Wednesdays | 4:45-5:45 PM

Youth Collective is a weekly hour-long program where parents drop their students off for interactive Bible studies, games, and fun. Youth Collective is all about building a close, faith-based community for students ages preschool-6th grade. We have 5+ high school volunteers who rotate weekly and love pouring into our students.

Jr./Sr. Night

Thursday | 6-7 PM

All junior high and senior high students are invited to Jr./Sr. Night. Bring your homework, or just come for a time with friends and coffee!

WHAT HAPPENS ON OUR FIRST VISIT?

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! If you would like to have your kids participate in our nursery or Sunday School programs, look for our "Children's Ministry" table on the patio where you'll meet our Children's Ministry staff and register your kids for Sunday School. Volunteers will be available to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.

IS THIS SAFE FOR MY KIDS?

Our volunteers are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check. Don’t worry parents—we’ve got this!

WHAT WILL MY KIDS LEARN?

Your kids will experience an age-appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and God’s love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. Our goal is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how Jesus can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!
